But History is not on our sides. The Last time we lost a season opener, it was against the defending Super Bowl Champs (Colts 2007). In fact, since 2001 the Saints have only lost 3 season openers. Colts once and Seahawks twice.

Just my comments on our Defense...

We have seen them a total of what.... 3 quarters?

San Francisco= held to 234 yards and no TD's
Houston = Didn't show them anything they will see in week 2
Oakland= did get 380 but we held them to 2 TD's.
Tennessee = That was what.... 9th string?

I am not overly worried about non divisional games at this point. Nor am I overly worried about our start.... We all know it is more importantly how we finish.

The buildup to this game is going to be incredible. Even our 4th string President is attaching himself to it. I say CUT HIS AZZ.
