Minnesota - The Norse explorers risked their lives and travelled over life threatening seas only to end up in a place just as f'ing cold and miserable as the one they left.

Well that sounds just like Finland, which is probably why most Finnish immigrants settled in Minnesota and Michigan... and it might also explain why I like the Vikings. But onward to another point... what do you guys have against the Vikes? |

1998 Vikings was one of my favorite teams ever... best Vikings team for sure. Moss, Carter and Reed were pure magic to watch. I agree that there have been some players there that I did not always feel to good about, and I couldn't even describe how happy I was when they gave Childress the boot. |
I think I've seen the Saints practicing their version of the Lambo Leap .... I think it goes something like Lambeaux Leap. You just might see them score early and often, from the diminutive Sproles to the towering Graham!
Geaux Saints! Two Dat! |
If the Packers can stop the Saints on the ground and Rogers can handle GW's play calling then they should win but that is going to be a tall order. I see the game being a low scorer with penalties all over the place. Still have to go with the Saints:
20 to 20 regulation. Saints edge it by 3 in OT. |
I am really looking forward to this game. I think it will be an awesome game and THE game of the week. Win or lose it's gonna be epic. :biggun:Oh, and NO INJURIES!!!!!

You shouldn't cut down the whole tree if few apples are rotten. http://yoursmiles.org/msmile/fun/m01102.gif I personally enjoyed the manhandling Favre got from the Saints, because I never liked him - mostly because he played for the Packers - and I certainly didn't like it when the Vikes signed him the first time and I definitely didn't like it when Childress went out of his way to get him to return. On a side note, McNabb looked pretty good in the first three preseason games, and I think that Bill Musgrave has brought with him a system that will allow all of the offensive players to play to their strengths. The Vikings might just surprise a lot of people this season. |
