Saints havent played in lambeau in a long time.

was'nt it in 06 paytons first year, and we won to go on to the championship game to lose to da- bears.

We beat the Eagles to go onto the NFCC..but i think we played them there that year...not sure.

Unless you are a Vikings or Bears fan, it is hard to hate on the Packers if you are a football fan. I mean...Lombardi Trophy...Titletown, USA...every team is trying to build what the Pack have got. The only girlfriend I have had who wasn't a Saints fan was a Packers fan, and I was cool with that, and that is saying a lot, so best of luck to you guys, I hope that any situations coming down to chance will turn out positively and the best team walks away with the W!

Thanks for posting here AR12, and welcome. Congratulations on the SB45 last February. I think most of the people on this board was pulling for the Pack. I know I was. I've always has a special place reserved for the Packers. They are second only to the Saints. Good Luck Thursday...but not too much luck. LOL

I have a question for you guys? You guys hate the packers or pull for them when your not playing us? In 2006 someone above commented that you beat us in lambeau in the playoffs. In 2006 we went 8-8 and missed the postseason.

Can't speak for everyone on the site but I like the Packers, just not when we play them of course. When referring to 2006 I said second game of the season not playoffs. I see the Saints being very similar to the Packers in that we're both small market teams.

The Packers are a good team and a classy organization. I harbor them no ill will, in fact I like them and their fans.
I play the same teams year after year in rugby and we like most of the teams because we always have a social after the match where we all drink together. There are some teams that are still bitter rivals but that is usually the older dirtier teams.

No bad feelings towards the pack except for three hours this Thursday night. I hope the Pack sweep the Bears and the Vikings.....

I have no hate for the Pack. Then again, I don't hate Dallas either as so many of my comrades do. LOL

I lost my dad in 1967, the day before my 6th birthday. I don't remember a whole lot about him, but one thing I do remember, is the Green Bay Packers was his team. I remember him rooting for the Pack. So as I said in my earlier post, I have a special place reserved for the Packers. I like to see them win. I want to see them win, except when they play the Saints of course. I was sad, but a part of me was actually a little glad that Arizona beat you guys in the 2009 wild card game, because I didn't want the Saints to play you in the divisional playoff game. It would have been difficult watching my favorite team, playing my second favorite team for the opportunity to advance to the NFC Championship game. But last year, after we lost to Seattle, it was all Pack. I was rooting for you guys all the way. Again, congratulations on bringing the Lombardi home. And as someone posted earlier, thanks for beating the Falcons last year in the playoffs.

No offense, but Vikings are my second favorite team - probably something to do with the northern connection - and, therefore, I always root for the Vikes if it isn't against the Saints or if them winning a game would hurt the Saints in some way.
