I swear some of these guys who write these stories haven't been paying attention for the past 10-20 years.

I'm not following you on that. I thought it was well written. What part did you take issue with?

We are a model of stability but we aren't the first... in fact you could say we took a page out of other teams book.

Steelers, Pats for example.

You have to give the Steelers a pass. Cowher after 10 years as a head coach needed a break. The key to stability is winning consistently. Build good locker room who want to succeed and develop talent and you'll have a job for 10 years. We aren't the model for that its other teams that wrote that page.

It doesn't say we're the 1st. It doesn't say we wrote the book on it either. It says we have now become that model, which previous teams have been.

I just can't see your beef with what he wrote at all.

I don't see what the argument is here...any team can be a model of stability, that model is "win football games and everyone keeps their jobs." That's all the article was saying. Yasinkas wrote like Yasinkas, he's no poet, but I like how he is genuinely positive and enthusiastic about all of the NFCS teams most of the time.
