Is it just me or did the Saints look like they were sleep walking for a while yesterday. Maybe the Panthers D is better than I thought. The Panthers O line did a good job protecting Pete except for 2 plays, or maybe they got away with a bunch of holding. The Saints didnt look real sharp, maybe it was because we were coming off of a bye week. Sure hope they shake the rust off before next Sunday

the carolina D line got good pressure on AB all day, our line wasnt playing that well yesterday and i look forward to better performances from them in the future, and the carolina Oline, got away with plenty of holding all day long, there were several missed calls and plenty of bad calls. but i also think the offense wasnt as sharp as it was before the bye week and i think they will get things back on track next week against carolina,

on another issue, i think the saints special teams had a mixed showing as steve gleason had the first blocked punt for the saints since 97, but Michael Lewis had a few bad run backs on booming punts which should have gotten good field position or retruns for TD\'s, he didnt make to many people miss in that second half of football and the saints were regularly in bad field position b/c of it

Good post as usual Gatorman. The offense was a little sluggish in the game but they will come around. The bye week helped to get some players healthy but caused some rust. I don\'t think we need to worry about them. The defense I think was better but will get better each week. I think they wanted to see how Dale Carter would perform after his long suspension. Look for the defense to improve drastically this week.One other thing we were missing one of our starters on the defensive line,Grady Jackson.
