Fixed that for you. No predicting us to go 2-14 does... that's something a clueless over the top Falcons fan would do.

I've been a Saints fan since the beginning, and have stuck with them from the bag days through the Championship. I even attended the 2005 games in Baton Rouge and there weren't many of us. You could just about go around and introduce yourself to all who were there. I've had Saints season tickets since the 80s. How long have you had season tickets?
Why do I find this so hard to believe? Did you lose a bet that made you buy Saints tickets? That would be one hell of a bet.

Poydras if you're reading this, I think you need to put a muzzle on him. All that bird poop is coming out the wrong end.

I'm not going to question your fandom....but after this little comment I will question your understaning of the game. You're not being a realist....your making over dramatic and insubstantiated comments after a loss. There is no reason to believe this team will only win two games this year. You just set yourself up to be mocked and made fun of for the rest of the season. Stop defending your comment and trying to justify it. It's making you look ridiculous.

"WINNING IS AN ATTITUDE". I also got a flag saying "FIRST EVER SELLOUT" that year. Want to know what the bumper sticker was this year? There wasn't one, just a windshield sticker that said "2011 SEASON TICKET OWNER". Stop running your mouth when you have no idea what you're talking about.

So you been a fan since 05?..now i see

I believe you are a saints fan. But I also believe your comments are an extreme over reaction. I understand being mad about this loss, I was p-oed as well. the lesson you need to learn is to refrain from posting so soon after a loss. Just say all these things to yourself in the mirror and blow it off. You know darn well we are not going to finish 2-14, so why post it. I'm not hating on you, just trying to give you some perspective. and about your pessimistic/realistic comment, you were in no way being realistic, you were obviously being pessimistic.

It's clear you don't have it.

"FIRST EVER SELLOUT"
You still have that bumper sticker? Fits you perfectly.

"2011 SEASON TICKET WINNER".
That sounds about right.

Stop running your mouth when you have no idea what you're talking about.
Okay okay, so you're not a Falcons fan. So from your post so far, you're the type of Saints fan that blast the Saints after a loss and hope back on after a win.

Yea I was being extreme... saw what I did?

Took a page out of your book.

Take a chill pill... it's going to be a hell of a season. The sky is not falling.

So, you didn't give up on them back then but you are giving up on them now? BTW, I don't count attending the games and badmouthing them the whole time as supporting them. Quite frankly, if you act at the games the way you have in this thread I am sure some of your neighbors would prefer you stayed at home.

I can't imagine how miserable it must be to sit near such a negative nancy.

And I am sorry to hear you are old enough to have been a fan in the 60's. I had hoped you were just very young and that you might grow out of it. But, given your age that's probably not going to happen. You are going to remain this way. It's sad, but no one is going to remember you as a stand up guy. This is your legacy.

Well, we really didn't trade a first round pick for Ingram. We gave up a second round pick in order to swap our 2011 1st for NE's 2010 1st.

Yous maybe right. But I figure with the talent we have we will be a lot closer to 11 than your 2.

But back to grading Loomis. Well it was not about just one player. Please can we give a few games first.

While I frequently put my face in my hands when we do something boneheaded, you will rarely here me say anything particularly bad. As for being old, yes. Believe it or not, I played high school football against Archie Manning. That was before he bacame "Archie Manning" of course. As far as what people think about me; only a couple of people matter and the list only includes my wife and kids. For the record, my kids think I'm way too pessimistic but my wife, who has been through 40+ years of being a Saints fan is more like I am....

NOW; back to Loomis! I think it was a mistake to trade a 1st round pick for ANYONE. I didn't agree with it at the time and I don't agree with it now.
Listen to your kids.
Now you're starting to sound more like a Saints fan. Just take a few deep breaths and remember we all went through that loss. I still want to look for the positives and remain optimistic that we can and will play better.
There is nothing wrong with questioning the system. We all do it from time to time.
