All of the negative aside how bout that last 2 minute drive from Drew Brees, i know i was not the only one standing up the whole time!!

Oh I was in to it. I told myself we'd score but then blow the 2 point conversion. LOL I'm a Saints fan. What can I say?

With as bad a game as our defense played, and minus 2 in turnovers (fumble and 4th down), burning 2 timeouts early in the 2nd half, on the raod, in the Superbowl champs' season opener, we were still 1 foot away from likely sending this game into overtime on the last play of the game.

The only thing thats really changed in the big picture is that I think we're now the 2nd best team in the NFL.

I think we'll seen these guys again.

lol yea i was the same way after the Colston pass i was like o yea we are going to score then try to run the ball in for the 2pt and lose....... go figure huh lol

that last drive was something that legends are made of...

lol and dont forget Cobb's kickoff return... ya know... the one where he defied gravity almost

That last drive was incredible. I thought we were going to pull it off. I still think, if the defense doesn't allow the Lynch TD run last year, we score another TD and put the Seahawks out of the playoffs.

And you're right. The season is a long way from over. I keep thinking though, had GB not taken their foot off the gas a bit if we would have even had a shot at that last drive. I know it doesn't matter. That's how games flow.

I am just completely disgusted with the performance of the D - mostly because I have every reason to believe they can (and will) play better.

I am sad and blue. I'll get over it. :mrgreen:

Wife fell asleep and kept saying we lost already... just turn off the TV. A while later she was getting a kick in the behind.
