Slipping
 

Has anyone heard anything said about why nothing (seemingly) was done about so many Saints players were slipping?

Nope. They mentioned the field conditions last night during the broadcast, but I was trying to catch my one year old at the time so I'm not sure what they said.

Sounds like an advantage at home with a slippery end that your home team knows about is worth... Oh... about 8 points!!

The Packers slipped a bit too, but not nearly as much.

Reminds me of the '06 NFCC game in Chicago when the Bears had the middle of the field re-sodded, knowing that we couldnt run on it and they just concentrated on sealing the ends from our RBs and WRs.

Mike, I respect you, so in no way am I being rude when i say, nooo wayyyy buddy. Our D got LIT up, our O line and D line were PWNED and yes we matched point for point, but our D was spanked. Which means our team was. If they ran 4 or 5 wide all night....we would have got blown out ...I dont see it any other way. When CHI comes in and runs screens all night like they did against the failclowns, we could possibly lose.. Not what I want but, our D is horrendous, and they showed us where our weak points are. If Im wrong, please correct me. Id like to know that I am

plus colston was stripped, which is what the bears will be doing on every down...and he wasnt hurt till the end, he didnt do much up until that point any way. Im just saying....We cant play the way we did the other night and blow out the bears. ..if Im wrong i will eat crow, but (god I hope im wrong) I think our D is going to get shredded all year.

i hope your wrong too...No W. Smith...new DT's...JG and CJ at the DE position...how many new starters vs last year on "D"?...i admit the tackling needs work but they need time to gell(imho)..AND...it was the SB champs...openig game...their building...i think G.W. will get it straightened out

Bears 30 Falcons 12 that is a concern. Either the Mike Martz Bears Offense is getting bettter or The Falcons are going backwards. The good thing is we got Da Bears at home.
