this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Has anyone heard anything said about why nothing (seemingly) was done about so many Saints players were slipping?...

Nope. They mentioned the field conditions last night during the broadcast, but I was trying to catch my one year old at the time so I'm not sure what they said.

The Packers slipped a bit too, but not nearly as much.

Reminds me of the '06 NFCC game in Chicago when the Bears had the middle of the field re-sodded, knowing that we couldnt run on it and they just concentrated on sealing the ends from our RBs and WRs.
