I think when you take it easy in the preseason, which we did. No sense of urgency. It carries over into the season, I feel this is what happened to the Saints in week 1. Our preseason was dull , boring,uneventful.. Do we blame this on the lock out, maybe, the coaching staff had to see who we needed to keep and I feel that took away from needed to be focused on in the preseason.
As far as a game plan for that game. It was out the window after we fell behind 14- 0.. Our interior offensive line which is supposed to be the best in the league was owned by B. J . Raji... Our pick up blocking out of the backfield was terrible.. We just real looked flat, to be going into a game of this caliber.. But on the bright side, we had a chance to win this game.. Call it bad play calling, bad execution, whatever, we still had a chance to win it.. Now we need to take the extra time till the next game, and focus on Chicago.. We need to stop there running game ( Forte) and put tons of pressure on Cutler.. GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!! |
