I'm expecting a hard fought game that will be won in the trenches. Which team can get to the others QB the most and disrupt the passing.

oh you really know how to soften us up....
I have to say I am PO about the way Saints fans were treated their last 2 visits to Soldier Field, so this game is a bit personal to me. But we had exactly three working parts last week against Green Bay: Drew Brees, Darrin Sproles, and Pierre Thomas. And we're minus Marques Colston and Lance Moore. Otherwise, I have, based on Thursday's performance, no reason to believe we can beat the Bears, especially with the receivers you have against our toilet tissue pass defense. Your defensive line could possibly devour our suddenly inept O-line, and destroy our season with one hit on Brees. (no clue why we let Stinchcomb go.) And I have no clue why we're trashing Jay Cutler. David Carr could torch our defense right now, given we have zero pass rush. I'll be sitting in the Dome rooting like crazy, but honestly, Im not as confident as some of my fellow WhoDats. If we can yell and raise hell enough to help us win, we're there for the Saints. welcome to the board. I want to beat the snot out of the Bears. May God bless your family / good luck in your real life outside of football. GEAUX SAINTS! |

Oh skymike.... are you sure you are not a U.S. Diplomat in disguise???
I'm just going to point out that I felt like the GB/Saints game WAS close. 8 points is not a big deal when you have a high powered offense like ours that just didn't get it clicking until too late last Thursday night. We will actually be at the dome for Sunday's game, hosted by some errrrrr....Bear fan suppliers of ours....so, should be interesting! I will be, as usual, decked out in full Saints attire! Anyway...welcome to the board, bear fan, and if you be nice, we will be nice. (Well, to a degree). Skymike...where is the party?????? |
Life is too short to be miserable....make changes while you can!

I cannot say that Urlacher NOT playing would not make me do a Snoopy dance.

I was not impressed by the Bears' O-Line against the Failclowns, which is why I think that there'll be a lot more push from the Saints' D-Line up front, which, in turn, will help out our backfield.
I'm not saying it won't be a close one and if the game was played at Soldiers Field I might even think the Bears could win it, but the game is the season opener in the Dome and the lift the team will get from the crowd alone will give the Saints the decisive edge. |
