John, we're doing a FLYING night TRIP! I have a gig tomorrow night, but its real close to my place, and I have a roadie to pick up after me. So after I make my last announcement, we jump on the road, and head to Lafayette. Might stay in Breaux Bridge. Should get there by 3am.

But thanks to daylight savings time ending, it'll be 2am!

Nice 6 hours of sleep, then ITS ON!

lets raise hell

Saints / Lions Playoff Game:

1. shoe-white marker, check.
2. car flags, check.
4. hotel, working on it.

Looks like some of the Houston area chapter of WhoDat Nation will be caravaning Saturday Morning. Dress your car up crazy & write "Hou-Dats" somewhere, so we'll know where you're coming from.

Im leaving Old River (I-10 at Lost/Old/Trinity River Bridge) (East of Houston) around ??? 9am? maybe later, since we're all going to be up so
late.

Will see some of you in New Orleans.

now the linky thing:

Ok...... stupid question...... what are you using on your windows? We drove from Dallas to the Atlanta game few weeks ago and I bought black shoe polish...... apparently it's not the same stuff I used as a kid! Could hardly see it and by Alexandria we washed off the remains at a gas station.

Next..... good luck on a hotel..... the freaking LaQuinta is $379 on Saturday night......

Also wondering if anyone has picked up tickets at Will Call before a game? Doesn't open until 4:00 which scares me..... thinking of getting in line about 3:00???? Anyone done this before, do we need to get there earlier???

Yes. Get in line early. People found out about this trick of going to the will call line and buying tickets that were returned from the visiting team or that no one picked up so the lines are sometimes long hoping on the chance of an available ticket.

Im using a glass marker. The brand name is "Speedball,"
and I got it at an art supply store. They come in all colors, so I got white, black, and GOLD!

I knew this weekend would be another episode of New Orleans Hotel (and parking) Hell. No surprise there. We're looking to stay on the BestBank, or even somewhere out of town, like in the River Parishes.

I'll be driving in from FL on Friday.
Booked the hotel about 6 months ago because Saturday is my 40th b-day... wanted to get back home to LA to celebrate the milestone.

Now, all I want for my birthday is a Saints win! Followed by several more in the coming weeks.
