Well yeah anything could happen.

But honestly; do you think Benson, Loomis, or Payton will allow Brees to walk? And coming from PFT; they're just trying to stir **** up...

We would use the franchise tag on him if all else failed..he aint leaving...Just pay him Loomis .

Non Stop??? Id rather he looked at the bears D on Film non stop, I think that contract stuff should be done in the offseason between the agents and team. Just call your athlete, " hey you like this deal, yes or no? Yes, ok then go back to tanning on the beach with your smokin hot wife and I will wrap this deal up for you"...it seems pretty simple to me

Nah. Brees wants all the money he can get in his last contract and the team doesn't want to handcuff themselves with a contract that doesn't allow them to field a team around Brees. Simple, honest negotiating stuff. It will get done. With the edge going to Brees, and it should, the downside is guys like Rodgers, Franklin, Henderson, Strief, Porter, Kreutz, Sproles and possibly W. Smith won't be Saints next year.
