11 Pass Attempts just aren't enough this time. Jake goes 7-11with one INT (run back for a touchdown -- Jakes tendancy to underthrow his recievers off his back foot finally catches up to him). The Panthers can't keep this one close enough and New England wins going away. Final Score Patriots 23 Carolina 10.

Superbowl Predictions
Sure, the pats are the best team in the NFL but that doesn\'t mean Carolina can\'t pull the upset. Carolina matches up pretty good with the Pats. Carolina has really good speed in Foster and Steve Smith. Carolina has a better defense than anyone the Pats have played in the playoffs. New England has no run game, at least not one that\'ll give Carolina trouble. Carolina has better special teams, IMO. The key will be wether or not Brady can exploit Carolina\'s only weakness, pass defense. Carolina\'s pass defense looks much improved over the last few games. If I was going to bet my house I\'d pick New England. But since I don\'t bet much I\'ll pick Carolina in an upset. Carolina 27, New England 24. |

Superbowl Predictions
The Pats always take away what a team does best. With Carlonia that would be the running game. They are going to put the game in Jakes hands and make him beat them. It a\'int happening.
As much as some folks want to think Delhomme is a superbowl caliber QB, he\'s not. Well, Trent Dilfer caliber. I might not be a QB expert, but I know an average QB when I see one. Delhomme will ride a PUMPKIN back to Carlonia. Cinderella season comes to an end, with Jake throwing 2-ints and no TD\'s. |
