Ours are OK, but there are some really ugly throwbacks out there.

At least our throw backs are not radically different, and since they aren't why even bother with them?

This is NOT a throwback, more like a spin off of Grambling or SWAC uniforms. Those were horrible - sorry if I'm offending anyone.

And this was the WORST of the Haslett era (error). The ultimate in mediocrity and underachievement. 4 of his 5 years was pure HELL for me.

We're wearing original uniforms. I watched Deuce and Brook clobber the Bucs in the throwbacks some years back, following their Superbowl season.. We do fine in the throwbacks, no bad voodoo, mo jo etc.

Ok, back to football......

I used to expect to lose. At times i hoped we didn't lose. Mostly, I thought we COULD win if the stars and planets aligned.

Nice to feel that we will only lose if we fail to execute.

It is a 180 degree shift in expectation.

I like the gold jerseys and I wouldn't mind seeing the Saints use those instead of the white ones on away games... but, alas, it might be just me.

But I agree on the sentiment about the "true" throwback unis... esthetically ugly and emotionally irrelevant. I don't get the purpose of wearing these uniforms if it's not a special occasion of some sort, which would/could justify their usage.

Actually it was their superbowl season. We swept them that year.

Here is my guess on why we are wearing them, this is the last year of Reebok as a supplier and they have a surplus of these jerseys already made since we wore them in 2002. They have been on nflshop for years so they figure if we wear them again they might be popular and fans will buy up the remaining inventory. Again just my guess from a marketing perspective.

I loved the all white uniforms.

NFL.com screwed up my order when I bought my Brees jersey back in 06 and gave me a throwback jersey, I've worn it with pride ever since.... it took a little while but it grew on me and I like it, it could be worse remember the Bears and Steelers jerseys in 1995 talk about ugly
