The Texans will come back down to earth this week, they are over rated.

Texans have the beef but do they have the speed to keep up with Drew? Drew, you can start scratching that surface you talk about this weekend.

Funny thing about the Saints is they can have a game where they aren't completely dominating on the offensive side of the ball and still put up 40 rather easily. For some reason I have a feeling that the game is going to have a really grinding feel and the final score will be like 34-24 Saints.

Last week I was very worried about going 0-2. I bought into the Chicago win over the falcons. So much so, I convinced people to put money on the bears straight up. My gut has the same feeling this week, so I am saying 30-13 Saints.

If the Texans play as poorly as they did in Miami and the Saints play as well as they did against Chicago, We got this:) Still see this as a tough game, but welcome back Will Smith!!

We win if we can keep up offensively and apply pressure to Schaub.

We lose if we get no pass rush and Schaub has all day to throw. He will destroy us.

I would like to see Rogers finally get some push up the middle ..although Schaub likes to run the bootleg a lot...so we have to watch out for that...I hope Harper proves me wrong and lays him outs and gets a pick...On the way back from dinner last night the Houston sports jocks were saying just find Harper and its an automatic completion..

And they think their D-Line will pressure Drew into mistakes...I think they are delusional...One dude said that a local highschool team could sack Cuntler with that bad O-line they have...and that they will have no problem getting to Drew..

They are really ****y right now..i think it will be a close game ..but we win and bring them back down to earth..

41-20 Saints

I love the Texans. As I have said before, they are my "Saints" of the AFC. However, when they play the Black and Gold......they are just another target on the "Hit List".

28-27 Saints.

I don't like this game at all. Brees will be playing from behind the entire game. Lots of passes, lots of potential turnovers, lots of injuries.

Defense is going to be called to stop Schaub at the end.

This, and if Brees isn't running for his life the entire game. I still have visions of December 19th, Sunday night in the Dome...Dallas, Ware, etc., etc.

Keeping up offensively should not be an issue. In fact, it should be the other way around. We have an elite quarterback, 3 solid running backs, a deeper core of receivers, and two solid TE's.

The Texans have a second tier quarterback, Ben Tate, a banged up Derrick Ward(who is questionable), Arian Foster who will not play, (though all world) one receiver, and a pretty good tight end who has not found his groove yet.

We have the advantage offensively.

Don't let them make big plays on special teams and we should take this one.

We should be able to run on them providing Payton chooses to do so. Seam routes to Graham should be money. Schaub likes to roll out to his right, hello Will Smith. Greer needs to blanket Johnson and maybe roll Jenkins to his side as well. Texans TE's are average so we should be able to cover them. If we protect Brees from mario, we should win this game by 10.

Tate is the guy I don't like, against us that is. He's the one that can keep Drew off the field, and wear the defense down. If we keep him stacked up all day and force 3rd and long most of the day, we take this one easily. If we "let" Tate grind out 4, 7, 12 ... and breaking tackles in beast mode, we will struggle to beat this team. Ball control will rule the day.

And dont rule out Schaub...the dude is a top five passer and he will eat you alive if he has time..we have to get pressure on him..Junyah should get some snaps..

For the most part if you look back on the Saints defense. When they know they have to stop a running back they usually do. It's the running backs that they don't prepare for that eat their lunch. Pretty much always contained AP with the viqueens. And usually it's 1 cutback run that produces the big yardage against us.

Not in coverage ...sorry Danno i know you love Harper..but the guy is a liability in that department..im pulling for him to do better. I still think we overpaid..like you do about Morestead...Except Morestead never got OKIE Doked twice in one game...an important game at that..

If we can stop the run we win big 35-17 Saints, but if we can't we lose in a shoot out, 42-35 Texans.

Texans fans, dont get mad at me for this post. I do this before every game / every team, just out of superstition. (my real pick is Saints -2 for homefield, and thats about it.):

Morstead has never proven me wrong. I've always thought he could be a great punter, and now it looks like he is.

There's nothing wrong with Morstead as a punter at all. He's a fine punter.

And he's been here 2 years Strat, you think you could spell his friggin name right by now. IT'S MORSTEAD.

And I don't LOVE Harper, I like him as a player. And he's unjustly criticized by a few people here. When he has a bad game, I say so. When he has a good game I say so. I just call it as I see it. When 2 passes are completed on him the entire game, I certainly don't start crying that he's a liability in coverage as others have.

He's a SS, and covers like a SS. "its unfortunate you don't know much about football"

There fixed it for ya..:p..I know one thing the dude would be a better LB than safety..and im not the only one who feels that way...

If he bulked up a little..i would rather him than Shanle..lol..Play him as extra LB in nickel situations and bring in another DB...that would help him out ..
