This Sunday marks the 5 year anniversary of "the block heard round the world." this got me thinking, what has been your favorite play (I was going to ask most important play, but that has to be the SB INT hands down.) mine has to be the Hartley field goal in the NFCCG. I remember being at work, with my head down, co-workers ready to heckle me. All I heard was Joe Buck say " and it's good. The saints are going to the Super Bowl." I leapt from my seat and darted through the hallways like a maniac. The radio call from Henderson still gives me chills. That may forever be my favorite moment as a saint fan.

Definitely the kick that put us in the Super Bowl. I'm a grown man and I balled like a baby, and whenever I stop and think about it or watch replays of it I get all teary.
The rest are mostly random. I remember the playoff game against the Iggles in the Dome when Deuce carried the entire philly defense on his back for about 20 yards. LOL PT's catch and run for our first even SB touchdown. Hakim dropped the ball! Jerry Fontenot pulling and leveling people 20 yards down field. Truley tossing the Jets helmet. Porter's pick six against Manning. Deuce plowing over some random Failcone at the goal line after a long run. The first home game after Katrina. There are tons more of course, but these are some that come immediately to mind. |
The on-side kick in the Superbowl, along with Lance Moore's catch for the 2 point conversion, along with the pic-6...
