Could care less what they wear so long as they win.

I like this type of old-school look so I was pleased.

The all blacks? Yes!

I know they are part of our history, but why celebrate a time when we SUCKED? Get rid of them forever!

Hate them. If we never wore those again I wouldn't complain.

I dont like. For a split second there a couple of times I thought they were the steelers and it just didnt register it was us when we intercepted the ball lol. I want the black helmets dammit!

I like them, as I always did! I would answer the third option, but we could be the Maryland Terrapins.....oh wait, they lost this weekend.

They were awesome, much better than some of the other teams throwbacks. Green Bay, and Denver.

Yeah I was confused with the uniforms I even thought I saw Chuck Muncie running today!

We look better in the regular jerseys......except for the all blacks.

They were ok, but I like our current ones way more.

I liked 'em - but they did clash with the new helmets...

Something was slightly askew about the helmet old uni look...

We LOVED them at our house ... I understand the part about us being TERRIBLE back when we used to wear those, but those days are LONG gone and personally I think it's cool to embrace those years as we understand that our new "culture" won't allow us to go back!

Love em as well. I remember when we wore them versus Tampa a few years back. One of my favorite Deuce games. Love the look.

I was cool with the throwback uniforms. At least the Saints do not have totally disgusting throwbacks, compared to some other teams. Have to admit, the Saints uniforms for the most part have been fairly consistent over the years.

i love turning on the tv and know who is playing by their uniforms. i do not care if you are talking college or pro. It is a trade mark. i wish they would keep them.

Lets change the LSU uni's. those are old and out dated. how about bama, georgia and so on.

Would like to see LSU do something with the helmet for sure; it has that committee/compromise look to it...

I like the larger logo on the helmets but not the black facemasks. I like the gray better. The Saints just look better with white jerseys to me all around. I will never will be a fan of the all black uniforms. Not suprisingly, I really liked the all white they used to wear.

maybe tighten a little here or there on the jerseys, smaller pin stripes around the arms and pants legs, slant the numbers ahh donate um to the world league. lol

sorry to post twice in a row...
just went on nfl (dot) com to watch... I did not get to SEE the game this week - was forced to get updates on my phone - it sucked OK - it did - but it only happens about once a season or so - this was it (I hope)

any who --- I saw some highlight clips is all -

SHEEZE I LOVE the old Unis - and wish now - as I did then! (if only the gold pants MATCHED.) The numbers, the socks, the helmet, the pants four different "golds" in all.

Was Fabric printing that bad in the 60's? Actually, I think it was.

I lived in Pittsburgh for a year - and often quipped that there was only one black and gold - the "stillers" were black and yellow. But they (like us) have not changed that much - on fact - they accepted there yellow pants along time ago as gold - and said - YEA, WE ARE BLACK AND GOLD!


I admire teams that don't change there basic stamp. I hate it when these teams change there uniform year in and year out. Pick one - and then do it with pride. Atlanta Falcons (you are our age) - FU for changing your uniforms like three times. Tampa Bay - you are a little younger than us and We all give you a one time mulligan - New York Jets and Giants - thank you for going back.

Ours has barely changed since we started. I mean the TV thing made them all change the stripes on their shoulders to put numbers and logos in the easiest place to read them - the logo on the helmet didnt really change - it shrank a little bit - the fleur de lis is still intact. --- it is not like the boston patriots who now look like a bad rendition of the Nike Swish - or the Cincinnati Bengals (almost an AFL sister team) who look like rejects from a Duran Duran concert.

Gold isn't really a "color" as in on the color wheel but it seems like they could have gotten the manufacturers together - even back then.

but I think those stripes on the pants socks and arms make them look like football players not Lance Armstrong with shoulder pads - OK i am biased and much prefer the old school uniforms and HATE HATE HATE the modern unitards.

Football is a geometric grid like game. I like straight lines - these modern wispy curvy things that some teams are putting under there underarms - the swish like streaks that teams have turned their logos into - I hate it all.

but if I were my father he would hate that they have logos on their helmet at all.

but still...

... there are 6 or 7 teams younger than us - yes we are still young - but hey - in a 32 team league - that is a lot. I think it is terrific that teams take a game or two every now and then to flaunt their history.

and frankly I like ours. I have great memories of it - and yea we lost a lot - but we stuck with em - and it made watching the pigs fly that much sweeter.

I say wear em again.
