Just some funny posts taken from various Texans Forum Threads

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; They also let KJ (Kareem Jackson) get fried to a crispy crackledy crunch and didn't seem to be bothered enough to take him out. I'm sitting here thinking, if I was coach, would I even be wondering whether or not ...

They also let KJ (Kareem Jackson) get fried to a crispy crackledy crunch and didn't seem to be bothered enough to take him out. I'm sitting here thinking, if I was coach, would I even be wondering whether or not to keep him? Because I certanly wouldn't be playing him and I might not even let him sit on the bench. The bench is for people who need a rest, aka everyone that has seen this guy play.

(re: on a poster asking whether or not R.Harper sliding into Schaub when he was down was a cheap shot)
He's been trying to get that blow to head call all year. It's not working. His acting is on par w the Giants.
- and this -
lol you can't be serious. reaching much? just accept the loss..

lance moore made kareem jackson his "female dog"

KJ getting his lunch monay taken by Moore .... all day long (while Jackson was talkin smack to Moore , wonder if which one of them feels like an idiot now).

The Saints did a very nice job of concealing holds by wrapping and grabbing. Go back and check. When they are beat, they wrap for a count then slide off the hold. This should be called but is difficult to see in real time. It worked well last night because it allowed some big plays that were going to be stops by Texans D. If the NFL doesn't call these, then the Texans O-Line should take note and make the transition to the new reality. HOLDING will not be called if you do it correctly.

OK.....to the above Texan fan quote, I will say.....not only do the Texans HOLD, they hammer and hurt and injure! I would also say, karma is a "biatch".....all that intentional injuring of other team's players will come back and bite ya!

"Holding?? Holding?? You wanta talk about Holding?"
On one replay it showed a Texan safety with a handful of Devery's jersey as he was running downfield in the open away from him. You could see that hold from the nose bleed section. Even Troy Aikman himself, who I thought was gonna run down on the field and start giving service to the Texans in the first half, made mention of several "no-call" penalties the Texans were getting away with.
I'm really sorry to disappoint the Texan fans in their quest for excuses, but they got away with WAY more "no call" penalties than we did, that's not even debatable.

I don't know if all that is true regarding the holding, but one phrase does come to mind...

It ain't cheating if you don't get caught. If this is true regarding the Saints "holding" technique, then all I can say is they were "coached-up" pretty good.
