The thing is that we don't know for sure how bad the injury was in the first place. It could've been over exaggerated and the 2 weeks recovery time might've been more on point than the 4 weeks in the first place.
Maybe it was done on purpose or maybe there was some type of misdiagnose... or maybe Colston just recovered quicker than expected. None of us knows the truth, but if the coaches think he's ready, I say dress him up 'cos he is the Saints' #1 WR and they'll be better with him in than him out. It would be well adviced not to take Jacksonville too lightly, especially with the Saints' track record against teams with losing records. A loss now against a team like JAX could have a devastating affect on the good performance progression built during the past weeks, and that is something the Saints' certainly don't need in the threshold of a couple of division games. Anyway, he needs to get cracking if he wants to get another 1000+ yard season. |
