I think that if there would have been someone there that Payton really wanted, then he wouldn't have given those picks for Morstead. I also believe that he really wanted this guy and since he didn't really want anyone else that was left on the board, he went ahead and made the play to get a really good, dependable punter who can also kick-off. Just another great move by Payon and Loomis, IMO. |
