Brian de la Puente appreciation thread

He consistently stands up his guy and most of the time pushes him back. The Jags have some pretty good DL too. On the long run by Sproles early in the second half he snapped the ball and took off to the second level, taking out a linebacker which gave Sproles time to hit the corner. On a 6-yard Ingram run earlier in the same drive he singled up on the nose tackle and pushed him back a good 4 yards. He did get beat for a sack later on but that was partly Charles Brown's fault too..... I'm no expert but I'd not be surprised if de la Puente is grading out higher than Kreutz. |
