I'm fine with being second. We did lose to the Packers after all. Every since Schwartz came to Detroit I knew they were ready for a turn around. They've got a blossoming QB and 1st round talent all around. They almost always get one of the top picks in the draft. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy but the Lions are and have been my surprise pick of the year.

I agree with you about the Lions; I honestly feel that they will seriously challenge the Packers for the division; the Thanksgiving Day game between the Lions-Packers could be the game of the year.

I was in Detroit a couple weeks ago and told several Lions fans that and they looked at me like I was crazy.

Actually I don't think the Lions are a surprise at all, they were an improved team already last year so this progress was kind of expected by me.

You mean these are different from BCS rankings?

Golly, we didn't know that.

Cannot believe I'm seeing the Colts at the 31st spot. Not that the don't deserve it, just one of those "Change We CAN'T believe in" moments.

We're sweating #23 this weekend. We need a confidence game for sure.

We need to dismantle somebody. I vote we dismantle the Panthers in THEIR house on Sunday.

The Lions beat Green Bay at the end of last season and they will have a shot at doing it again. It will be a good game!
