Is it Panic Time Yet?

OK, Weekend is here and we can now give 100% focus on the Saints visiting the Panthers. So far, practically nothing has been offered about matchups, problems, injuries, strategies or tactics. It may not be scientific, but when this kind of lull has happened in the past, we lost.

Are we that confident that we have no time or energy for alerting areas of concern? Where has the fear of losing gone?

I'm afraid of Steve Smith getting a rhythm with Newton. I'm afraid of DeAngelo Williams cut backs. I'm afraid that the O-line is porous and weak on the edges. This is going to be a wickedly difficult game against a team that has nothing to lose and can and will take tremendous risks to gain a small advantage.

No panic..but they might cause a problem..just play smart and we should win..Being thin at LB and O-Line is scary...this is a game i really wish we had Ivory to run down their throats...I hope G.W has some tricks up his sleeve for Scammy...If we do get to him we need to wrap up...and make him pay.

Here's what I'm scared of: Our defense making Scam Newton look like the other teams have. I'm tired of hearing how awesome he is. How he is some kinda phenomenon. I hope that the defense gets to him early and often.

No smoke or sunshine blown here.

I want to win BIG, but I'm calling a close game.

G.W. needs to put Harper in Newton's face. All day.

Our stat's are eerily similar. NOT a betting-man's game, that's for sure.

I think this is a game where GW confuses Cam. Give him one look at the line then change it when the ball is snapped like he did against Brady and the Pats in 09. Let Cam think he sees 1 thing then hit him with something different. I'm calling 2 picks and a strip fumble.

Unfortunately, our defense will give up big yards and plays to he and
Smith. Just hoped that the "bend but don't break" motto will be in effect. I don't care about that, I just want the offense to come out and play ball. I'm getting sick of us not having a game plan designed for scoring. Enough of the late game comebacks, call the game as though you want to win and let's go home.

We don't need Ivory (this game), just let their d-line know that you are going to run it more than 17% of the time and we'll be fine. And that you are going to run it hard and with intentions of gaining positive yards. Tell those big mutha-grabbing o-linemen to move someone out of the way, or get run over.

I've said this many of times since I've been on this site, but if i see another game where we come out throwing 15 of the first 16 plays I'm gonna lose it.
