Am I crazy, here?!
But can I be the ONLY one here wanting to see someone beat the Packers...
EVEN if it's the Falcons!? I think we can handle the Falcons when that time comes. But I'm past weary of hearing of a "Back-to-Back Pack!" Sure, they will lose some steam later, and the injuries have yet to plague them, but how about a quick loss to make me feel better about our loss to them. It will give the Falcons OVERconfidence, and we will crush them. It will bring the Packers back down to earth. --------------- Someone got the number of a good Psych' so I can do something about the VENGEFUL disdain I have for Rodgers and the Packers? Dammit! |
Please don't have me banned for rooting for the birds this weekend.
I like it here. Alaska |

I'd like the Packers to lose several games, but not to anyone else in the NFC South.
|
Hoping the Falcons beat the Pack?! Oh hell no!
GB will get their's soon enough and I'm thoroughly enjoying the meltdown from the Atl fans. |
If we had just given that ball to Sproles on the 1...
My life would be Sooo Different!! LOL Alaska |
It's ok Alaska, the sun will return in about 5-6 months.

LOL
Stop it, Hulka. That's not funny! Okay, sorta... Alaska |

Detroit and Chicago are there...

If you want to give the Falcons the win, you are handing them a tiebreaker that could come back and bite us in the ass. It is way to early in the season for this. You have to take care of your division first. Then you worry about other teams in the conference. I could see your point if it were later in the season and we were already a lock for the division, but you NEVER route for a division rival until division title is secure.
|
I don't know who I hate more Failclowns or Aaron Rodgers and his title thing he does with his waist that he did against us.. That burned me the wrong way. I hope like hell we see them in the NFC championship game and nothing I would like to see more than every Saint that scores a TD to do that Title wrap!!!

I only want to see one team beat the Pack and that's the Saints! Who Dat, baby?
|
There are still 5 tough games remaining for the pack that can go either way especially the last 2 against the Bears and Lions so no, let them rip the dirty turds a new one Sunday night.
|
NONONONONONONONONONO!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? You crazy, crazy man! Please look at what you have posted and come to your senses. You are obviously not feeling well so go and get some help... crazy man.

This is crazy talk, rooting for the Falcons?
If the Packers rip the Falcons a new one again, the Dirty Birds will likely implode...their grip on reality is fragile at best. If they lose, the HANGOVER for them after that game will be IMMENSE. A loss to the Pack twice in a row will give them confirmation of what they secretly already know in their guts -- which is that they and their "Matty Ice" rely entirely too much on luck and fluke plays to win their games, and they are not really as good a team as they always THINK they are. The Packers proved it to them on the field last year, it revealed who they really are. You want the Falcons to have that HANGOVER, that doubt, that lingering uncertainty in their gut, always always always. They ain't all that. I could see the Falcons easily dropping a game or two more, to the Panthers and/or the Lions, after they get creamed by the Packers -- if the HANGOVER of doubt and lack of confidence is strong enough. They haven't ever won jack, and their team is over rated, last year was supposed to be "their year," so the pressure in this game is ALL on them. If they lose to the Packers after being clobbered by the Bears, squeaking past the Eagles and losing to the Bucs, then the Falcon fans will basically know that they might still get lucky and make the playoffs, but their season is ALREADY DONE...Because they will know in their guts, that they have no hope of beating ANY team at that high level of play, unless a fluke or luck is involved. In a tough game they pretty much always crack, unless it is handed to them with a bow and gift wrap. |
I want the Packers to destroy the Falcons by at least 50 so that team and their fickle fan base can get a dose of reality. All offseason the media hyped that team up to expectations they won't get. I want any confidence the Falcons had about this season to get wiped out this Sunday
|
No way do I want the Failclowns to win that game. I hope the Packers beat 'em down and maybe put couple of guys on the IR for good measure.
I don't see the Packers going 16-0 with their schedule. W9 at San Diego; W12 at Detroit; W16 vs Chicago and W17 vs Detroit could all go against them or at least one of them. Also, maybe an upset in W10 at Minnesota (overconfidence) or W13 at NYG... who knows, but the fact remains that they still have hard games ahead and it only takes couple of mental errors to decide a close game. |

Not only do I want the Packers to beat the falclowns, but I also want them to destroy them. I want the falclowns beaten so bad that it destroys their morale for the rest of the season. Then I'd like to whoop the Packers in the NFCCG.
|
we cannot in all seriousness pull for the failclowns , i personally hope the GBPers beat the living snot out of the clowns. they need to be put in there place and have fits heart checked out during the game. they will be looking for draft picks by week 10, oh thats right there out of that too.
|
I'll never pull for the Falcons. Neither will I pull for the Packers. I hope they end up in a tie.
|
If the Pack is up on Atlants by 5 scores in the 4th, I'm hoping and praying they score again, and again, and again.
|
I understand all the hate for the 'clowns...believe me, I do. But sometimes you have to "take one for the team"...so to speak.
We need GB to lose 1 more game then we do...for playoff homefield hopes...as I'm sure the OP meant to but forgot to point-out. I will not be pulling for the 'Clowns to win the game (in other words, I won't be standing in my chair and cheering everytime they score...), but more for the game to end in a way that will be beneficial to the Saints and give us a chance of not having to play for all the marbles in GB. Right now we have Atlanta where we want 'em...below us. I want homefield advantage, too. Just my $.02, though. |
Like and a Rep for you, LB!!
If you follow my posts I am for max points and max wins. NO game is a "we could afford to lose that one" game. Honestly, I'm more frightened of a losing Falcons team than I am a winning Falcons team. When they play with nothing to lose except pride - we lose. Great point on your part, but POINT TAKEN; I'm crazy... Alaska |
Whoa!
Now why am I thinking Baked Alaska. |
Alright, but if the Falcons win, you guys need to BLOW UP my Rep button for having the courage to think it and then bring it to the board! LOL
I take it all back, Damm! I just saw a sign that one of those losers at Wall Street is holding; "BAN ALASKASaints and sell the State back to the Russians!" LOl Alaska |

I Honestly Believe That The First Game Of The Season Was The Preview Of The NFC Championship....And Its Gonna Come Down To The Fourth Quarter To See Who Pull It Out....
|
TBH, I'm somewhat neutral in this game. If the Packers win, I want a major route. In the scheme of things though, we may not get a ton of opportunities to pick up games towards home field advantage with the Packers though. We are already the equivalent of being 2 games behind due to head to head. If the Falcons win, I have doubts that it will be convincingly.
I'll be both happy and disappointed either way. Probably leaning more towards hoping the Packers win though. |
NEVER EVER - I MEAN EVER (EVER) ROOT FOR THE FAL-CLOWNS.
Did I mention - NEVER :-( |

What if a key player gets hurt (without naming names) and we lose a few because of that players absence and have to play lights out toward the end of the season to catch up? We would be screwed if the Falcons lucked out and beat Green Bay. If it were later in the season, yea I would pull for the Falcons, but its WAAAAYY to early for that. |
I must admit some of these thoughts have been creeping up on me as well. But then I stuff them into my subconscious by remembering how much I loathe the Falclowns. I'd much rather have the Packers win, because it helps our position in the division.
A dream day on Sunday would look like this: Saints defeat Panthers (helps our divisional position) 49ers defeat Buccaneers (helps our divisional position and very plausible) Packers defeat Falclowns (helps our divisional position and very probable) |
Cant root for the birds sorry. I hope the packers put up fifty on them...
|
fresh caught alaskan salmon is delightful on the grill. now back to the game, al points taken seriously but clowns losing is always sweet in my book, but however it helps us most important.
|
Don't get me wrong, fellas. I'm not rooting, per se, for the Falcons. Just delighting in the suffering of the Packers
What happens in the Division, stays in the Division. But what happens outside the division; we can't control. Regardless of the outcome, let's rehash this at the end of the season to see if the alternative would have mattered, okay? Alaska |
