Totally agree. And all his teamates loved him. I met him once in Covington and he was super nice. I always liked him and will always wish him the best. He had heart and always gave 110%.

The only step I really knew was that step that Springsteen does... In the "Dancing in the Dark" video. I love Springsteen. Yes.

I am not so sure anyone "got on him".

Only thing I can say positive about him for on field performance is that he was about the only one at the time that could actually intercept/catch the ball when thrown his way. Other than that he was toast.

JD lead the Saints in interceptions on his way out the door.
He was also a sure tackler in run support.
But his man coverage was atrocious, baffoonimous.
He could get turned around and get his feet tangled with the best of 'em.
He would bite on a sneeze, and then couldn't run anybody down to recover.
He and Fred Thomas looked to be in competition for the "Light Me Up" award.
Did we ever announce the winner?
