I really don't blame him..but i wouldn't say he is pissed..more like hurt...and he is having a decent season with a rook throwing him the ball..he could have a decent game against us this week ...especially in the blocking game..

"It's a business. I know that. I don't hold anything personnel - well, not that long. But I do hold things personal."

He doesn't hold things personnel but does? Absolute nonsense. What isn't nonsense is cutting him. Missing 3-4 games a year and constantly playing hurt. He's hurt right now. What is nonsense is letting Graham ride the wood when he's more than capable of contributing just as much as Shockey would have and likely more. Get over it. Saints put you in position to earn a SB TD and a ring. Love you Shockey but come on.

At least he got to play and score in a Super Bowl with the Saints.

I was scratching my head on that one, too...but for some reason they wrote, "personnel" the 1st time and "personal" the 2nd time. Maybe that's suppose to mean something but I can't figure it out.

Maybe he was traded to get to the Saints, but it certainly wasn't a ringing endorsement for him. Sitting in the stands in the SB rather than on the sideline had to be somewhat enlightening to him. Maybe it was his choice, though.

I was kinda pissed when Shockey was released too ..... then Jimmy Graham showed up and kicked the door down, sorry its a business and you have to just move on. I'm sure he'll always be welcomed in NO when he retires

I know what he is saying ... if you've ever been cut loose from a job you liked ... it isn't personal, but it is. In your head you know it isn't personal but in your heart it still can feel that way.

That's more than he got when he was with the Giants. He had to pay his own way to the Giants last SB when they upset Tom Brady and the Pats.

The Saints paid him HANDSOMELY to play. Why should he be bitter. He was given the opportunity to seek employment with whomever he wished.

My bet is that no one would trade for him. If you can't get even a 7th rounder for a starter, it tells you a little about his perceived value. Too often injured, too little impact in games.
