Looking to Tampa....
Ok, now that Carogina is over, for now, how about Tampa? They looked terrible against the 49ers today. WTH is going on with them? The niners not actually "known" for offense, put up a 40 burger on them today... I'm thinking, if they play like they did today, we should handle them easily. As a Saints fan, I have learned over the years to NEVER use the term "gimme game", but wow..... Will Tampa show up to play us or not?

Uh, yeah they will. This is a divisional game. However, we seem to play better in Tampa. Let's just accelerate through games from now on. No more of this, go up 10-14 points and then give the game back to the opponent.

Tampa is a good team, we need to come out and hit them in the mouth early to break their spirit. They will be posied for a turn-around after this weeks performance but if they struggle right out of the gate against us they might start to unravel.

We need to come straight out to a fast start, work sproles in there, keep the bucs on their heels, take a shot downfield but only if its open.
We need more turnovers, Blount is a difficult guy to stop and we always seem to let RB's run all over us. I was impressed with Patrick Robinsons performance today, hopefully he keeps it going, 2 picks and a blocked PAT in 2 weeks is quite good going to be honest. We need to get better at tackling, deangelo ran all over us, tampa is going to be tough next week but we can win if we play up to our potential |

Tampa Bay, defensive tackle Gerald McCoy went down with what looked like a serious knee injury in the first half.

It all depends, will the Saints defense show up or will it be another nail biter??

McCoy had a high ankle sprain. The Bucs just look their best defensive player for the next month.

We have to find some discipline on defense. The cut back run kills us everytime. We have to keep outside containment and force the runner back inside.

We play Tampa twice in a three weeks stretch .... they won't be easy, especially since they got embarrassed by the FortyWhiners...
