I am truly sorry Jeremy Shockey, I am sorry we had to release you. The one thing you sign up for when you play this game is that there will be constant change. Yes, it is very cold of the saints to use you to get to the Championship game and then ask you to train your replacement, but from the looks of things he's just better. And to top it off when you actually do get the chance to see the team that realeased you, you did what you do. You end up hurt. Good Job Shockey, but we've moved on. Until the next time we see ya. Peace. From the NFC SOUTH LEADERS!!!!

I just don't have a problem with it. I was excited to get him here BECAUSE of that attitude. Why shouldn't he have that attitude now that he's playing for the Panthers?

I continue to wish him well, with the exception of two weeks out of every season.

I think it was a "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" situation. Shockey got picked up by a classy organization, and he was immitating the actions of the leaders when he was here in New Orleans. Well, now that he is in Carolina....need I say more? Ron Riviera? Just sayin!!!

Yes, just because they have minds, and thoughts, and ideas, and the ability to express them they obviously should not because of... um... stuff...

"After the Panthers had a long touchdown run by Deangelo Williams, Shockey immediately turned to the Saints bench and grabbed his crotch, and proceeded to just hold it there while facing the Saints bench," according to Garic.

I was not aware of this disgusting show of unsportsmanlike conduct until reading this article. I am tremendously dissapointed. He was one of my favorite players because of his leadership abilities and his presence on the field. Trash talking is one thing, that's part of the game. But to act like this to the team that helped get you to the Superbowl is just unbelievable. I have one of his jerseys. I will probably never wear it again.
