Lions have a lot of problems WhoDat, not exposed because of the teams they have played. They have no run game, there OL is very mediocre , and Their secondary is not very good, Romo lit them up for entire half. If they try to bully a really good OL, with solid TE's, a great screen game, and well disciplined , I can see them being cut to pieces and getting worn out. As soon as the opposing offense weathers the initial storm.
I remember us thinking SB in 2006 ![]() Much like with Atlanta, stop turner the failclowns stubble. |
Saints proved that pigs could fly in 2009.
Now its time for another miracle SuperBowl and go where no pig has gone before. ![]() Last edited by pherein; 10-11-2011 at 12:56 AM.. |

I hadn't looked @ Lions schedule when I posted that.
I thought Saints played them before the Lions-Packers Thanksgiving Day game. Looking at their schedule I seriously doubt the Lions make it to December without losing a game. |

Post MNF Update:
Most folks on the sports radio show here now saying lose at Green Bay, lose at New Orleans; most predict 13/14 wins. |

overrated--
They've beaten KC, Minn, Dall, TB & Chi. Or to put it another way, zero playoff teams this year. |

The Lions have really been a nice story to start the season, however, my take on the Lions is they will come back to earth very soon. While I do believe they are a legitimate playoff team, I am not sold on them. Teams will eventually figure out a way to slow down the Stafford to Johnson connection. They really do not have a running game to fall back on, I know Jahvid Best turned out a recent great game, but not enough to carry them. Their defense has been decent, but overall on both sides of the ball I just do not seeing them keeping it up. Especially once key injuries start to hit, like they always do.
