Thumbs up From SI Power Rankings Week 5

2.The good news for the Saints is that after this week's trip to Tampa Bay -- the third leg of an already successful three-game road swing -- half of this season's away schedule is done and in the books. The even better news? If New Orleans can get past the Bucs and improve to 5-1, a 7-1 mark at midseason looks like a virtual cinch, with Indianapolis at home and St. Louis on the road to close out October.

I hate the back-to-back-to-back road games. That 3rd in a row is brutal and often not very pretty. I think statistically its almost always a loss.

I'm curious, do any other NFCS teams play a 3rd straight road game against a division opponent?

EDIT: Carolina is the only other NFC South team that even has 3 straight road games.

Tampa and Atlanta don't have 3 straight on their schedules.

Thanks NFL.

At least our 3 division foes aren't that far from New Orleans

Atlanta had it last year if I am not mistaken. Pretty sure they won all three, too.

3 in row on the road is bad but how do you think the Bucs feel, go across country to Frisco and get blown out, come home and play the Saints and get blown out then fly to London. That's about 13000 frequent flyer miles.

What does it matter? In order to be the best you have to beat the best.
