What do you think about this possibility ..... :P
Geathers to enter NFL draft ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Georgia Bulldogs defensive end Robert Geathers will skip his senior season and enter the NFL draft. Geathers filed his paperwork before Thursday's deadline for underclassmen to declare for the draft, even though he said earlier in the week he would stay in school. Geathers, who started every game last season, could have faced a competition to retain his starting job opposite David Pollack. Coaches talked to Geathers about the possibility of redshirting this season. The six-foot-three, 270-pound Geathers recorded three sacks and 33 tackles last season. He could become the third member of his family to play in the NFL. His father, Robert Sr., played defensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills, and uncle Jumpy Geathers was a pass-rushing specialist with the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos. http://www.canoe.ca/Slam040117/nfl_geathers-ap.html What maybe round 3 or 4 pick for the Saints or shall we snag him with the 2nd pick ?? |

Maybe this is me being \"cynical BMG\" but here\'s how I see it.
Haslett labels Howard a \"cancer\" and we lose him to Atlanta. Now that a DE from Georgia is available, Haslett gives away our #1 and first #2 to trade with Atlanta to get #7 and draft Geathers. This is exactly what I was afraid of. |

Oh man... here it comes I can feel it. A la La\'Roi Glover - Howard just isn\'t right for the system and his injuries have become a problem. Meanwhile Donte Stallworth is a real asset to us... oops, Donte\' just pulled another muscle while on the can.

You have got to wonder , because Boo was resigned real quick . There were no notes of any attempts for the Saints to sign Howard during the season . They have been known to drop the ball on contractual negotiations and there is a new DL coordinator in town .......
Howard a Falcon ?? Would that just make you want to scream or what ??? |
