Dude sooo true. I haven't been able to get that of my mind

We are not a good team. It's as simple as that.

Alaska

Where was the sunshine in my post?

Wonder the same thing. Another issue I have- why can't we run the ball. Is it the play calling, type of plays, run scheme? What is it?

WhoDat!656 10-16-2011 08:50 PM

Is anyone else as sick as I am of hearing EVERY pre-game show talk about all the exotic blitzes GW will draw up to confuse rookie/inexperienced QBs?

Maybe he should draw up some plain old simple "beat-the-SOB-in-front-of-you" blitzes and see how that works

The Dude 10-16-2011 08:52 PM

We have 4 above average starting RBs on our team. Maybe 5 above average starting WRs, and we basically only throw to Sproles and Graham. The rest of these guys are pretty much invisible most of the game. We might be at the point where we have too much talent on O. Maybe we should trade some of these guys who have value and get some above average defensive lineman and linebackers.

Josh Freeman is far from a rookie or inexperienced quarterback...

And without all these exotic blitzs, no way G.W. and the defense will get any pressure.

We have a hard enough time getting pressure with said blitzs

Half bad means Manning numbers against us.

Cory9289 10-16-2011 09:48 PM

@Alaska

Not a good team? What the hell is every other team in the league?

WhoDat!656 10-17-2011 12:32 AM

The next time we play the Bucs, the only name I want to see on it is Rhonde Barber.

I hope it is no worse than a broken fingernail; that guy always seems to play his best against the Saints!!

nola_swammi 10-17-2011 01:09 AM

Will the real Tracy Porter step forward! Roman Harper you act like you wanna deliver crushing hits (late hit on Smith) but when a runner square up while you are coming full speed you just stop while the runner run right pass you is pathetic.

SaintsBro 10-17-2011 11:02 AM

Good grief. Calm down folks. That entire game was a freak aberration from start to finish! After Coach went down with the broken leg, the WHOLE THING changed, it was a house of horrors from that point forward...I am not happy about it, but I'm not gonna judge too much by this game.

Everyone needs to regroup, calm down, and move on. Yes the defense sucks, and plays like a wall of wet tissue paper across the field that the other team can run right through and rip it apart. Yes, some days Drew gets that crazy dog look in his eyes and throws tons of interceptions. That was just a crazy day for everybody! Once Payton went down, nobody knew what the hell was going on, it was free-for-all combat out there, without a general to rally the troops and craft the master plan.

The season is far from over.

I'm not judging the Saints D based on this one game. They've been mediocre all year long and really haven't shown much of anything.

What scares me is that Euphoria is seldom wrong.
I might pick up Painter this week.
j/k (But he is right a lot)

I'm worried because we are playing a struggling Colts team in our house.
We get so Saintly in these situations; feeding the poor and clothing the naked.
We need to whip what pants are left right off of these guys. NO mercy.
But its not very hard at all to see yet another close game down the stretch with a team that shouldn't even be on the same field as us.

spkb25 10-17-2011 12:38 PM

I was more worried about the Tampa game, and then the Pants game then this one.

saintfan 10-17-2011 01:11 PM

You guys don't think the team is pissed? The Colts will be done by halftime. Bank on dat!
