Angry The big D...

as in DEBBIE DOWNER. Or maybe DENIAL.

We are not that good of a team. Period. We lose against terrific teams by a small margin and we lose against bad teams by a small margin.

We are marginal, at best. Yeah, we could get lucky and get into the playoffs like last year as a wildcard or maybe even eke out the division in this incredibly mediocre division, but then what? The Packers will repeat. They are rolling teams left and right. Weak schedule, but they PUT TEAMS AWAY. I can't remember the last time we put any team away.

I now understand why we don't get any press; even horrible teams get press... We are marginal. A person never knows what to expect therefore never knows what to predict. Just watch and see if the Saints can lead the whole game and win by 3 or trail the whole game and win by 3. If Drew has a bag game we will LOSE. Sorta one step behind the Colts, for instance.

Today, our luck ran out. Now, we don't even have a coach on the sidelines. We have a bunch of clowns coming to a consensus about what we will do...

At this point I'd rather be a crappy team showing up and beating a team that we are not supposed to beat. There's a good feeling in that. Instead, we show up and play tit-for-tat with teams that we should crush. Until there's an "outcome."

I pumped all the sunshine I could pump this week, but you know what? I had a bad feeling about this game after we could not put away the Panthers last week.

Next week the winless Colts get a chance to beat us... ON NATIONAL T.V.

Smart money is on the Saints not covering whatever spread there is.

And I HATE to say that.

Depressed at this point,
Alaska

HERE WE COME, TA GE' CHU!!!!

We managed to hit Moore twice... TWICE.
Brees averaged 7 yards per carry. Ingram? About 2. Thomas? Forget it.

We hit Henderson ONCE.

Again, the Graham and Sproles show. NOT enough offense either to win this game even if the defense played.

Was it Tampa's cover 2 throwing Drew off? Couldn't have been, he picked Chicagos Cover 2 apart...

O-line is a big blame as well as poor tackling.

Let's not go into full blown panic mode just yet. Two loses is still only 2 loses. They getting measured for Superbowl rings in Cinny right now because their 4-2. And I'm not scared of Green Bay. We were 1 rookie mistake away from beating them. This game stunk, but so did Dallas in '09. All we need to make sure we get that first round bye, then the 2 or 3 games we lost will just be a footnote.
