Ok get over it
Yea we lost, it happens. Yea our D needs work, oh well. This was a division game and people all over the inter webs are panicking. Division games are almost always close. Records don't matter in division play. How many times did we give SF hell during their dynasty years even when we sucked? How many times have we sucked and turned it on during division play? Records go out the window, and our division opponents are going to play us like its the Super Bowl every single time. There are no Gimmee games in division play. We still have Brees, and the worst part of our schedule is over. We get another shot at tampa at home, and we can still win the division. This was our third game in a row on the road and the Bucs were coming off of an embarrassing loss and were more eagar to win than we were. All is not over..

We played absolutely terrible and still had a shot to win it. Our A game destroys this team. The ship isn't sinking.
On a nitpicking note though, I have zero confidence in our defense anymore. It's not one game where we can't get off the field. It's not two games. It's every game. If our opponents were in 3-30 I'm still doubtful they're punting. Considering we have almost no defensive injuries it is either a flat out lack of execution or it's a scheme issue. The amount of times it seems we have no one in the vicinity of an opponent making a big play leads me to believe it's coordinator related. What's the deal Gregg? |

Let's see, we ...
- Lost the turnover battle by 4 - Had several calls and non-calls go against us in the game - Lost our head coach early in the game with a major leg injury - Played a team with a winning record - Got outrushed 117-to-70 ... And yet we only lost by 6 points and had a chance to win near the end. Don't like to lose, but was surprising we hung in there regardless. Will give credit to Tampa too. That defense was aggressive and playing hard yesterday. Their backup running backs did well and Freeman did not make any real mistakes. But yes time to move on, we have a winless team to kick around while they're down next week and exercise some payback ... you all remember the last time the Colts came to town right? |

Get over it???
There is no getting over that loss. With all the expectations and claims of how good this roster is. Its time to start talking of the firing of Greg Williams. Its best we part ways with him this off season in stead of prolonging it. Peyton will be smart to let him go then in stead of latter... just like Gibbs. |

It wont matter because Greg's contract is up this year, and he wants to be a head coach for a team.

Need to put ownership on the front four, and if they can't get it done, replace them. Agree with too much cushion on third downs, but with some pressure the DB's could be more agressive.
