Ok on to the Colts

I have not watched many of their games and the one I did see Painter looked absolutely horrid. I hear he is looking better, but you know how we make inexperienced QBs look. I am hoping for that 50 pt blow out I have been wanting but will be happy as long as we play fundamentally sound football. This Colts team is a team we can get ahead early on and then just practice playing fundamentally sound, mistake free football. If we do that I don't care what the score is as long as we win. I wish they would let PT have the ball one half and then Ingram the another, just for this game, to see if they can establish any kind of rythem.

QBREES9 10-17-2011 11:00 PM

Ok on to the Colts. See now you're getting into something.

foreverfan 10-18-2011 02:55 AM

Wait Q... you weren't enjoying the board imploding? If we lose this week, the board might actually go supernova.

Flying out Thursday morning to spend the weekend in New Orleans and see the Colts game on Sunday! Hope we have a better result than last Sunday. I think the TB game might be the wake up call the Saints needed. Its easy to overlook your weaknesses when you're winning. Hanging a beating on the Colts would be a good boost for the rest of season. See ya in N'awlins!

Enjoy New Orleans, and hopefully a Saints win!

One thing about it-- NOW I'm into the Colts game. Before sunday, I was thinking, "Oh great... even if we win, its meaningless." Well now its gonna mean something.

I agree with The Dude. Painter looked awful in the MNF game vs. Tampa. James Brown couldnt have given the defensive line a more rhythmnic, predictable cadence. It was like:

James Brown: "CAN I COUNT IT DOWN!!?"
James Browns Band: "YEAUUUH!!"
James Brown: "CAN I COUNT IT DOWN!!?"
James Browns Band: "YEAUUUH!"
James Brown: "ONE- TWO- THREE BLITZ!"
(da DA DA DA DA-da-da-da-da!)

Painter could be make-up for our ugly defense.

Kick their azz!

Run, run, run the ball and keep our "D" on the sidelines. That goes for the rest of the season.

Beastmode 10-18-2011 07:02 AM

Painter plays within his means. I don't see us getting turnovers off him but pressure, yes. Forcing them into punting early is going to set the tone of the game.

SaintPauly 10-18-2011 07:11 AM

I certainly dont count wins until they are official anymore. I hate games like this....

NOS2SB 10-18-2011 08:26 AM

I think we'll clean up the mistakes and win this game. We'll be at home after three weeks on the road.

iceshack149 10-18-2011 02:47 PM

Saints 31
Colts 17

skymike 10-18-2011 03:54 PM

NOOOOOOOOO!

(monday, we decided predictions are bad mojo)

foreverfan 10-18-2011 06:31 PM

Win the rest for the Gipper.

Actually the board isn't as bad as it was after GB game geez that was nuts.

I think its because after the Bucs game a lot of people jumped off the bandwagon already.

Yea... I was giving you a hard time to have some fun. All you did was state the obvious... again.
The defense has looked like crap since the beginning of preseason so nothing new there.

What is encouraging is special teams and Jimmy Graham. Brees is his usual self and the offense seems to be on pace.
If the defense can gel a little bit, we should be fine. No telling how the Sean Payton injury will effect the team.
Hopefully it will bring the team together.

This team looks like a repeat of SP's first season. NFC Championship loss in Green Bay this time. :???:

FF :bng:

Mardigras9 10-18-2011 07:03 PM

We defintely need some help not to end up in the snow in January. Green Bay's schedule is pretty weak for a while. A run game would be nice or not falling behind would also be great. No way Tampa keeps the division lead and sweeping the Falcons still give us the division and time to rest before. The bandwagoners will be back in full force after the next few games, no doubts.

WhoDat!656 10-18-2011 08:26 PM

In 2008,2009,2010 the Saints split with the Bucs; in 2007 the Bucs swept the Saints and in 2006 the Saints swept the Bucs.

So the Saints losing one game to the Bucs is nothing new and has pretty much come to be expected the last few years.

I am 100% convinced that the Saints will win the next 2 games and will re-gain control of the NFC South!

Bigdawg 10-18-2011 08:38 PM

Need PT and Sproles this game against the Colts. Throw in a litle Graham. Sproles is a Colt killer.

pumpkindriver 10-18-2011 11:17 PM

Since PM isn't playing, I'm glad I didn't get tickets to this one. Painter should have some success but not enough to come close to winning this one. I'll be there on Nov. 6th for our rematch with those bucs.

It wasn't a prediction. It was a recollection.
