Ok on to the Colts
I have not watched many of their games and the one I did see Painter looked absolutely horrid. I hear he is looking better, but you know how we make inexperienced QBs look. I am hoping for that 50 pt blow out I have been wanting but will be happy as long as we play fundamentally sound football. This Colts team is a team we can get ahead early on and then just practice playing fundamentally sound, mistake free football. If we do that I don't care what the score is as long as we win. I wish they would let PT have the ball one half and then Ingram the another, just for this game, to see if they can establish any kind of rythem.

Flying out Thursday morning to spend the weekend in New Orleans and see the Colts game on Sunday! Hope we have a better result than last Sunday. I think the TB game might be the wake up call the Saints needed. Its easy to overlook your weaknesses when you're winning. Hanging a beating on the Colts would be a good boost for the rest of season. See ya in N'awlins!

One thing about it-- NOW I'm into the Colts game. Before sunday, I was thinking, "Oh great... even if we win, its meaningless." Well now its gonna mean something. I agree with The Dude. Painter looked awful in the MNF game vs. Tampa. James Brown couldnt have given the defensive line a more rhythmnic, predictable cadence. It was like: James Brown: "CAN I COUNT IT DOWN!!?" James Browns Band: "YEAUUUH!!" James Brown: "CAN I COUNT IT DOWN!!?" James Browns Band: "YEAUUUH!" James Brown: "ONE- TWO- THREE BLITZ!" (da DA DA DA DA-da-da-da-da!) Painter could be make-up for our ugly defense. Kick their azz! |

Run, run, run the ball and keep our "D" on the sidelines. That goes for the rest of the season.

Painter plays within his means. I don't see us getting turnovers off him but pressure, yes. Forcing them into punting early is going to set the tone of the game.

I think we'll clean up the mistakes and win this game. We'll be at home after three weeks on the road.
