this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Brees does tend to trust his WRs too much at times, but if he didn't have this mentality we wouldn't have won a Superbowl. I'm more concerned with WRs catching the ball and RBs holding onto the ball....

I disagree. He is suppose to trust his WRs "too" much. The problem is he's not putting the ball where only they can get it now. Romo in him, nah! He's forcing it too much like Farve. I also think his puppet master's tricks are getting a bit sloppy. Opposing teams can see the wires now. Don't get me wrong, I still believe he is the best QB in the league. And especially with the protection (lack thereof) that he's getting. |
