Ahhh, so my speculation is starting to make a little sense eh...now we\'ll argue about top 5 or top 10...or less...either way, according to your argument they\'ll wanna dump him for something cheaper right? Or is that not what you\'ve been saying?

First, at least of couple/three folks in here accused me of speculation...now you\'ll argue the semantics.

Lemme clear it up. Top 5, 10, or less (starter salary -- whatever that may be) YOU say teams need to look for a cheap alternative to the QB position rather than look for a \"flashy\" guy with great numbers, right -- so they can spend that money elsewhere? Jake Delhomme isn\'t gonna be that \"Cheap Alternative\" next year, and that has NADDA to do with Brooks or his contract. So what say you Whodat...shall the Panthers refuse to renegotiate with Jake? Shall they look for some unknown guy with potential from NFLE they can sign for a pittance? I guess we can have this discussion since we have proof that others besides me are speculating...
