this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; and this I will say. If we don't beat the Colts by at least 17 points I will be very disappointed. The Colts are terrible, and I honestly don't know if they would be any more than an average team ...

and this I will say.
If we don't beat the Colts by at least 17 points I will be very disappointed. The Colts are terrible, and I honestly don't know if they would be any more than an average team if Peyton was playing. Their secondary is terrible. Drew should easily throw for 300+, unless they find themselves feasting on the Colts awful run defense. Pat Angerer is getting some pub but he makes almost all his tackles 8 yards downfield. I'm trying not to be overconfident but I've seen all the Colts games this year. They don't stand a chance. |

Saints lack the killer instinct to beat a team by 17+points.

In today's NFL, I won't be surprised with any outcome, but I do know what my wish is. I still have this horrible taste in my mouth from a spanking we took from these guys not too terribly long ago...in the dome.
This is one game where I would like to see the Saints, if leading, put the pedal to the metal rather than slacking off and just run these guys out of the dome. I got my wish wit da Bears...now if we can only settle the score wit da Colts...kinda kick 'em when they're down like they did with us. |
Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

From Fox Sports Week 7 preview
The Colts are hoping that Sean Payton having to move up to the coaches booth will have an impact on the flow of the Saints’ offense, but Sean Payton could move to the next state and the Saints would still find success against this defense. The Colts are competitive nearly every week, and Painter is only gonna get better, not worse.
I'll take a 1 point win right now. |
