Concerning Drew Brees' Contract

I'm beginning to wonder just how much Drew is asking for. I mean for a QB who threw 22 INT's last year and lost to the worst team to ever make the playoffs, to this year where he's thrown about half the amount of INTs he threw last year already in just the first 6 games, I'm wondering just how much Drew thinks he's worth. I know no team is gonna pay $120 mil for a guy who throws that many INT's and constantly loses to inferior competition. I know Drew's the best QB we've ever had but it's already looking like he can't get back to 09 form.

Is it how much Drew is asking for or how much his agent is asking for?

Business would be much more easier if the main parties would just negotiate man to man and seal it with a handshake...

I see what you're saying, where the agent sets what he thinks the market value is and Drew is going to let his agent get as much as he can, but still, I think his agent is asking for too much and that's why we don't have a deal in place.

Jay Glazer reported just a few minutes ago that negotiations will resume this week, supposed to meet with his agent in St. Louis this week I believe
