Don't get me wrong, the Saints played a great game last night, offense and defense, could do no wrong...But it was against the once mighty Colts, Not just talking about the Peyton Manning Colts here... They looked old they looked confused... Not the same team we played in the Super Bowl..
But back to the topic of Greatest Games... I would say that this one wouldn't even rate in the Top Ten.. New Orleans Saints 2006 Katrina Tribute - YouTube 63 yard field goal by kicker Tom Dempsey (NFL Record) - YouTube Garrett Hartley OT winning field goal - YouTube |

I could gaurantee you that if Drew were to go down and the Saints lost a game in the same fashion, everyone and their mother would be stating how great the other teams was/is. And how overrated the Saints are/were. THEY WERE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE, AND IT WAS NO WAY WE WERE GONNA LET THEM OFF THE HOOK!!! |

My top regular season games attended live: 1. Falcons - Dome Reopening 2. Texans this year - for the magical comeback. 3. Browns '88 - shootout between Bobby Hebert & Bernie Kosar - 2 safeties! (Bruce Clark & Brett Maxie) First time I remember us winning a season opener. 4. Broncos '88 - Us vs. AFC Champion & Elway. Scary game going into it. We knocked them snotless (42-3?) and looked Super Bowl bound. I just remembered that feeling of hope we all had, and the joy driving all the way back to Many, La. |

Re-opening of the Superdome game against the Falcons, best regular season home game ever, no question. Only way that one gets beat is Superbowl Victory in 2013 in the Dome.

Don't forget the games against the 49ers with our Dome Patrol.
Those were some on the edge of your seats for 60 minutes. You also have Hakim Dropped the ball. Oh yeah and that one game I think they called it the Super Bowl. I don't see this in the top 10. After all the Colts are without their leader and were win less going into the game. |
