It starts at the top. I'd put more blame on Polian than I would Caldwell.

I mean there is no denying that Manning means everything to that team. They really don't have any answers for Manning out.
The team is built to be in shoot outs and when you go into a fight without a gun... last night is what is bound to happen. The season so far for them is what it is and is expected without their leader but last night really exposed Indy to what they are and some are starting to believe that they aren't going to win anymore championships even with Manning at the helm. They are in a great position though... they have some good draft picks coming and Manning next year wold be the biggest turnaround team EVER. Or simply put trade Manning and let the rebuilding begin with Luck. |

I got the feeling the entire Colts team threw in the towel in the second half. It reminded me of when the Packers beat the Cowboys last season. Some of the Cowboys just gave up on tackling.

Caldwell is gone after that mess last night. You can lose but like the article said it was more than a loss, he lost the team. Once that happens there is no way to recover from it.

That's one thing I'd agree with as he is responsible for hiring Caldwell and for failing to surround Manning with talent...
And if there was any doubt in the Brady v. Manning debate, the Colts total debacle this season is an excellent argument why Manning is the more valuable quarterback... |

this is exactly right...he's a useless coach. does nothing and seemingly has ZERO emotion or skill. they should have gone after palmer or garrard for a year contract...ANYTHING other than their patchwork collins or painter nonsense. not that i care, screw em
