Well that's good news. But it could mean bad news for Ingram.

I like the move..if Ingram cant go rest him...as everyone as stated we will need all our RBs come playoff time...let Ivory gets some time if need be against the Rams...i think P.T and Sproles could hold it down..but never hurts to have Ivory in case of another injury..

This is a good predicament for the Saints barring Ingram's injury. We have flexibility right now at RB. Not many teams have that luxury.

Precisely why #28 was drafted in the first place...

Darn - Maybe we can trade him to the Sucs (NOT!!!)

This is like having to choose between phish food & moose tracks ice cream - Its a problem I like!!

From a different thread, but more relevant here...

...

I'm sure they'd prefer that 54th roster spot for as long as they can use it.

Now they may be forced to keep 4 RB's, two of which do not play special teams.

This may be bad news for Ivory. With very little practice under his belt he could easily tweak a hammy or an ankle and then its hello Injured Reserve.

I hope Ingram can go Sunday. It may help keep Ivory available for later on in the season and the playoffs.

Yeah if P.T and Sproles can Handle the Lambs ok ..which i think they can..let Ingram rest and Ivory practice and get in game shape..Its kewl having Ivory active in case of an injury..nice having some RBs who know the system and can play..unlike bringing in guys off the street in the past..

Easy way to make a hole for Ivory, just cut Meatchump. He is about as useful as tits on a bull.

Definitley not worthy of the first round pick we spent on him, I love seeing colston back on the field, the guy is a beast and make its harder to figure out who to cover, you double cover marques and you have graham or sproles running wild

I wholeheartedly disagree. He's an important cog in the Saint machine.

Run a few plays with Collins behind Hall to give the others a rest and to show something different to opponents. Ivory can't be in football shape. There was no offseason but everyone atleast had camp. Give him another week of practice.
