The Rams had one of the worst defences in the league while the Saints had the best offence going into the game - just a week after Drew Brees had thrown five TDs when they put 62 points up on Indianapolis.

On the back of the St Louis Cardinals' World Series win, a pumped up home crowd saw a huge improvement on defence as they intercepted Brees twice and sacked him six times as they hustled and harried him all day.

Veteran AJ Feely is standing in for Sam Bradford and although he did not shine particularly he did find Brandon Lloyd with a crucial touchdown throw.

Running back Steven Jackson was the real star though, he was fired up from the start and scored two touchdowns along with 159 yards as he bullied the Saints' defence to record his 28th 100-yard rushing

GW needs to change his style or defense, I loved it in 2009 when it achieved things, it's been stale for the past 2 years now! Change the style of D so we can stop the run and be better against the pass or get rid!
The offense was totally inept, really really embarrassing day for us tbh, the o line looked like they wanted brees to get hurt! And brees looked like a rookie forcing passes left right and centre, totally embarrassing

This thing ain't gonna get fixed this season so we just got to ride it out. If I see us pick anything but defense until round 5 or 6 before taking an O-Lineman I probably won't even watch next season, I'll just check the scores.

Out of curiosity..... Why were we running the ball so much in the second half? That is usually reserved for teams that have a lead, or don't need the FRIKKEN time to catch up!
