Saints fans gut check..
We got be by a 1-6 team with virtually no chance of making the playoffs. It was a painful loss without question. Here's the thing though, the Saints are still in the division hunt, right in it, heading into two huge games. And the only real front runner in the conference are the Packers with much football left to play. Anything can happen. With that said...
Things the Saints are going to have to work on; being predictable. The offense is becoming too methodical. Flee flicker, double reverse, something to keep defenses from charging Brees. The screens are not enough. It's time to open up the play book. Turnovers. We have to have them. Batting the ball down is simply not enough or gesturing almost had that one. They are there. Get it and get off the field. Greer and Robinson each had one today go right through their hands. I know they can't grab every single one but when they can get two hands on it there is no excuse. Getting more creative with the play calling and getting a turnover when it's there, if they can do that they can win the division. |

The line has got to protect Drew better... Even before Brown was hurt today, he was getting schooled on his side. Bushrod also.... I don't know what was up with the line today. Just read where Nicks got into it with the line coach on the sideline.... Wonder what that was about anyway...

Does anybody believe me NOW about Bushrod???? The guy is a complete waste. Making a name for himself?? Like what turnstile, wiff artist, this line is in real trouble and I don't know if it can be fixed this year or not. If any of you want to hold out hope of the playoffs LOL, go for it, but it's not gonna happen. People get mad when the rams fans still call us the Aint's, well until we Aint the Aint's we can't say anything. This game was a joke, worse even than the loss to the bucs and the sad thing is, the joke is on us, the fans.

I really don't know what happened to our line, I'd rather us have paid jamaal brown than let him go, not being funny but that guy never got beat by anybody.
I read a stat about 3 weeks ago that Bushrod has allowed 17 sacks in 31 starts, I wonder how many it is now? They need to do something about this mess, where was our running game against the worse ranked defense in the league? |
