yea, i think that is how they do it, they wont release the schedule for next year until after the season is over so they can even out the strenth of schedule, granted they already know who teams will play every year, they just have to put the games into order

Saints on Monday Night Football?
I think with the last Falcons and Saints game you will see the Saints and Falcons on Monday night football next season. With the Brooks and Vick family thing and the exciting football that was played a couple of weeks ago that will be a game ABC wants. No doubt they will have at least one next season

Oh you can bet they\'ll have the Falcons on Next Year...no WAY ABC won\'t have #7 on prime time. I also think the Saints will get a game. Our offense is exciting and will only get more so as it matures.

Saints on Monday Night Football?
Primetime games are based on several factors. The official schedule comes out in April (I think) and tentative 1p & 4p games are slotted. Then ESPN & ABC get to pick their games.
Popular (Green Bay, Dallas) and large market teams (NYC, Phily) are always going to be in the primetime lineup, as well as several 4p starts to be the \"premier\" game for FOX or CBS. There is no clear cut standard for primetime games and ESPN & ABC can not pick teams of their chosing simply because they don\'t think they\'ll draw primetime rating numbers. I sucks because New Orleans is a small market & so are it\'s divisional foes (sans Atlanta). It\'ll be nice when the Saints make the playoffs & get 3-4 primetime games, same as what happened in 2000 rolling into the 2001 season, they got a couple sunday nighters. |

Unfortunately, that\'s how it goes. The bigger markets and the big names teams get the lion\'s shares of the national exposure and teams like the SAINTS get shafted.
That is, unless the SAINTS do so well that they simply can\'t be ignored. That\'s the best we can hope for right now. Go SAINTS!!!!! David in Houston |

The Saints will get a MNF game next year. With the offensive showing they are having they will not be left out in the cold. Their last Monday night game was a good one with the Rams. Thought the fans didnt help our cause throwing bottles on the field. The Saints and Falcons are a lock for MNF no matter how big or small the market is. Vick is marketable and they will look at that.
