He's on the active roster, and was listed as inactive for todays game. He was hurt but probably not bad enough for the IR so they kept him on. Probably good news and means the coaches saw enough to warrant a roster spot and think he can get healthy at some point during the year. Up until today we were pretty deep at CB. My guess is if PRob or Porter cannot go this week we will see Patrick.

Thank goodness Porter is ok. That was a scary hit. I was literally speechless the entire time he was laying on the turf.
As much as I hate our rival teams, I would never wish an injury on any of them. Karma has a way of coming back on people who do that. |

Seems like this whole thing was just a bunch of precautionary stuff. Better safe than sorry though. Glad he seems to be OK. |

I didn't see the injury, but it sounds like it looked pretty scary there for a while. Glad Porter is doing ok.

I figured he just had his bell rung! He got up momentarily after the hit then went back down. Im sure he'll be fine.

(I didnt see the hit, as we were in the crowd, who couldnt get in because of the heightened security.)
Good to hear Porter's ok. I saw his legs moving, but then the took a lot of time preparing to move him, so it was pretty scary. Then when they were carting him off, I was hoping he's give some sort of thumbs up, but he didnt move anything going off the field. I like the way Romig announced, "From Port Allen, Louisiana, Tracey Porter..." Get better fast, #22! |
