New Orleans Saints Week 9 Recap: Sweet Revenge Over Bucs
The New Orleans Saints, particularly the offensive and defensive lines, really answered the call and played much better, more physical football to outplay the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and improve their record to 6-3 on the season so far. Outstanding blocking and tackling dominated the day on both sides of the ball for this Saints team today in their 27-16 victory over the Buccaneers.
My MVP of the game for the New Orleans Saints is RB Darren Sproles 43 with another 141-yard all-purpose-yards game in the books for him. Sproles ran the ball 4 times for 42 yards (10.2 yards per carry) with a long of 35, caught 5 passes for 57 more yards and one receiving TD along with a 15 yard punt return and two kick returns for a total of 27 more yards on the day.
