Forward thinking

The NFC South has represented the conference in the last two Super Bowls, and now Saints running back Deuce McAllister feels his team could be next. In Houston to pick up the NFL Play of the Year award for New Orleans during Super Bowl week, McAllister got a close up view of the teams that made it and thinks the Saints may not be far off. "We had a young team," said McAllister. "Even though we were young, we were still good enough to be here (at the Super Bowl). ... We can win 12 or 13 games a year because we have that kind of talent."

CAN win or will win? These past three seasons have started out with so many people saying that the Saints have the talent to take them into the playoffs and beyond. Another promising season that ends with a tragedy.
